Watershed Set to Open; The Skinny on ShopHouse

Todd Gray’s Watershed, a seafood-focused modern American concept from the Equinox team, is scheduled to open within the next two weeks at the Hilton Garden Inn on First St., NE. Foodies in the NoMa neighborhood will experience everything from a quick bite in the lounge to a full chef’s table experience. The decor will feature a water wall at the front entrance and a color palette of greens and blues in the contemporary lounge and adjacent dining room. On the menu – a showcase of regional and seasonal ingredients that will include chowders, shrimp and grits, po’ boy sandwiches and plenty of fresh fish.

Separately, the owners of Chipotle are gearing up for the launch of ShopHouse, their new fast-casual Asian concept that is set to open its first location this summer in Washington, DC. The menu will feature a mix of Thai, Malaysian and Vietnamese flavors, where diners will move along a service line to customize their meal of braised and grilled meats, veggies, spicy sauces and garnishes.
